The importance of communication and information dissemination has been highlighted in the IAEA Action Plan
on Nuclear Safety (Action 11). The intention of the Topical Group on Communication (CTG) is to support the
ANSN Member States to communicate and consult with interested parties, including the Public, on safety and security
related matters in normal and crisis situations in an effective, consistent and regular manner.
The target audience of CTG includes regulatory bodies, authorized parties and other relevant governmental organizations.
