Safety Assessment

During the first meeting of the Asian Nuclear Safety Network (ANSN) Steering Committee in March 2004, general terms of reference (ToR) for the ANSN Topical Groups (TGs) were defined. Within this frame and in order to fulfil the particular objectives of the Topical Group on Safety Analysis (SATG) and objectives of the Topical Group on Operational Safety (OSTG) ensuring suitable working methods and self-assessment, specific terms of references for the SATG and OSTG had been defined. For further strengthening the ANSN work in efficiency and effectiveness, at the 20th ANSN Steering Committee in November 2014, it was discussed and agreed to combine the Topical Group on Safety Analysis (SATG) and the Topical Group on Operational Safety (OSTG) so as to newly establish the Topical Group on Safety Assessment (SATG) accordingly. Therefore, the ToR of the new SATG is developed based on the ToRs of both SATG and OSTG
